Website Privacy

Updated October 21, 2026. This page explains measurement on manga-gen.pages.dev. The app privacy policy covers Manga Gen itself.

What the website counts

We count page loads and clicks on App Store links to understand which guides help people find the app. Counts are grouped by UTC date, page, button position, and a broad source such as Google, Bing, social, another website, or direct traffic.

Visits from AI search and assistant websites may be grouped into a broad AI source category when a recognized referrer or campaign source is available. We store the category, not the full referrer URL or campaign value.

Our measurement database does not store your IP address, full referrer URL, search query, browser fingerprint, email, or a visitor identifier. It counts events rather than identifying unique people. Automated traffic can affect counts even though recognizable crawlers are excluded.

Storage and privacy preferences

We do not set analytics cookies. A browser session storage entry called mangagen_source keeps only the broad source category while you browse in a tab. It does not identify you. Website measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control when your browser sends those preferences.

Aggregate counts older than 90 days are removed when new measurement events are processed. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes network requests to deliver and protect it; its infrastructure may process request information separately from our aggregate measurement database.

App Store links

Download links pass through a website redirect that counts the button click, then sends you to the App Store. They include an Apple campaign label for the page you came from and a provider token identifying our developer account. These identify a campaign rather than a person. Apple handles the App Store visit under its own privacy practices. A website button click is not proof of a download.
